Samish Island Garden
In 2019 I moved to a house on Samish Island with a very established garden. The three years that I worked on it were challenging and rewarding. The beds were incredibly overgrown, and it took a lot of effort just to thin things out. By the third spring, I was able to add new plants and evolve the design to my own style. It was a high-maintenance project and enough work for a small crew, but I did it all myself and felt invigorated by the hard work and all that I had learned.
